Tech Watch but it is either sticking, sliding out, or not attaching correctly?
Please make sure it is not upside down or flipped over. The MACHETE logo should be facing the outside and you should be able to read the logo when wearing the watch band.

My Watch Band broke and I need a replacement
We offer a one-time, 1-year (365 day) warranty on our Tech Bands! To EXCHANGE your DEFECTIVE or BROKEN Watch Band please send your request for a replacement HERE. We will send you a complimentary, pre-paid return label. Once we've received your package we will email you with a tracking number with your replacement band.

Mono Watches
Setting Your Watch
- Pull the crown to the second position.
- Turn clockwise to set the time.
- Press the crown back in to start the watch.
Resizing Your Watch Band
Bands must be sized by a jeweler. If you know your wrist size, MACHETE can resize it before shipping. Resized watches are final sale and only eligible for repair or replacement.
Water Resistance
The water resistance rating is engraved on the case back and listed on the product page.
Watch Care
- Rinse with soap and water after saltwater or sand exposure.
- Avoid hot tubs and saunas.
- Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent acetate fading.
Battery & Maintenance
- Replace the battery every two years to prevent leaks.
- Water resistance relies on rubber seals, which should be checked by a jeweler every two years.
- Avoid extreme temperatures (above 140°F / 60°C or below 14°F / -10°C).
Warranty & Repairs
- 1-Year Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
- No need to register, but proof of purchase is required.
- Not covered: Normal wear and tear, scratches, battery replacement, resized bands that break.
- Warranty is void if the caseback is opened, buttons are pushed underwater, or the crown isn’t secured before water exposure.
Return Policy
We offer 30-day returns from the date you receive your item.
How to Start a Return
- Your item must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging.
- Submit your return request through our Online Returns Portal.
- If approved, you’ll receive a return shipping label and instructions.
- Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Damages & Issues
Inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can make it right.

Exchanges
For a faster exchange, return your item and place a new order once your return is accepted.
EU Customers: 14-Day Cooling Off Period
If your order is shipping to the European Union, you have 14 days to cancel or return it for any reason. Items must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging, and proof of purchase is required.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Defective / Warranty Exchanges & Refunds
At MACHETE, we stand by the quality of our products. Our 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship from the date of purchase.
What’s Covered?
We’ll repair or replace any product with a manufacturing defect within one year of purchase.
What’s Not Covered?
Normal wear and tear (scratches, scuffs, fading, minor cosmetic changes).
Damage from improper use, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.
Alterations by the customer or third parties (this voids the warranty).
How to File a Warranty Claim
Contact us within the warranty period with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
Our team will guide you through the process, including returning the product for inspection if needed.
If covered, we will repair or replace your item.
Limitations
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
All claims are evaluated case by case at MACHETE’s discretion.

- Free return labels for exchanges and store credit within 30 days of purchase.
- Holiday returns must be postmarked by January 10th.

We accept international returns within 30 days of receiving your item. International buyers are responsible for return shipping fees.

Outlet items are final sale however, if your item does not suit you please post it back to us to the address below and we can issue a store credit to your email address on file.

Cleaning Jewelry & Accessories
Jewelry Care
- Clean with a soft cloth (like an eyeglass cloth).
- Wipe down daily if exposed to makeup or moisturizers.
Watch Band Care
- Wipe it down – Use a soft cloth to remove dust and grime.
- Wash gently – Dip in lukewarm, soapy water (not hot) and wipe clean.
- Scrub lightly – Use a soft toothbrush for crevices.
- Rinse & dry – Rinse with warm water, then pat dry with a towel.
- Quick dry – Use a hair dryer on low heat or wear it to let body heat help dry it.
How often?
Daily: Quick wipe-down to remove sweat and lotion buildup.
Acetate Material
Due to the unique nature of our materials not all patterns are the same.
Each unique cut of jewelry stands alone and is not like any other. This unique quality is what we feel makes our jewelry so special. We do not offer swaps for exact color matches because this is not possible.
PFAs- We prioritize the safety and quality of our items, including our smartwatch bands. Our manufacturing process does not include the use of PFAS (forever chemicals) in the natural materials we utilize.
Product Materials
Italian Acetate
Our "Tortoise" styles are handmade from Italian Acetate, made and imported. Our Italian Acetate is high quality and non-petroleum based. Cellulose acetate is a natural and renewable material, providing an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum based materials. The name "Tortoise" in our earrings is only to describe the materials pattern. We do not use actual tortoise shells or other animal parts to produce our jewelry.
Earring Posts
All earring posts are made from Stainless Steel and are Hypoallergenic.
Recycled Brass
All plated jewelry and accessories has a base of recycled and repurposed brass with ethically sourced 14k gold and sterling silver.
Upcycled Pearls
All pearls come from dead-stock pieces that we reassemble to fit new designs.
Shipping Materials
We’re committed to making our shipping materials as sustainable as possible. While we’re continuously improving, here’s what we currently use:
- Recyclable Plastic (#2) – Protects your jewelry and can be recycled in your home bin, often repurposed as composite lumber.
- Biodegradable EVA Bags – Designed to break down naturally over time.
- Dissolvable Packing Peanuts – Made from starch and dissolve in water.
- Recycled Paper Print Materials – All our printed materials use recycled paper.
