Q: How can incorporating Pilates into a daily routine improve mental health and stress management?

Pilates requires mindful body awareness and mental focus to perform correctly, taking you out of your day and into your body. The 50 minute break can not only help provide a stress release but also help the clients connect deeper to their breath, providing ongoing support to their mental health. 

Q: What are some common misconceptions people have about Pilates, and how do you address them? 

Pilates is not just for women! We inform all of our clients that Pilates is a great practice to incorporate in addition to your training to prevent injuries or help rehabilitate existing injuries. 

Q: What are some beginner-friendly Pilates exercises that anyone can try at home?

We love bicycle crunches, plank variations with alternating knee taps and side lying glute work!

Q: What are some tips for staying motivated and consistent with an exercise practice, especially for beginners? 

Remember your goals and the feeling after your workout! Being consistent and holding promises to yourself helps you gain more confidence! 

Q: If you could only eat one healthy food for a month, what would it be and why?

Salads! I crave them and love to get creative with fresh, seasonal ingredients and dressings.

Q: What’s a fun or quirky wellness habit you have that others might find surprising? 

My go-to stress release, if not working out, is a glass of water with higher dose detox drops before heading into my red light sauna and listening to the daily mediation from the Open app with my phone on do not disturb.
